Position: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Garner, NC

Pay: $28 to $34/hour + 10% shift differential

Experience:

3 years of industrial maintenance experience
1 to 3 years of PLC troubleshooting and electrical experience
3 years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience

Education: High school diploma or GED

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Night Shift, 6pm to 6am (2-2-3 Shift)

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work order scheduling and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to the DC equipment and controls.
Understand and troubleshoot any issues related to the electrical phase systems.
Perform equipment installation and welding.
Records work done on forms provided.
Follows OSHA and company safety guidelines.
Identifies parts needed and maintains an inventory of parts in the stockroom.
Performs equipment changeovers.

Position Requirements:

Knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding, and Rigging.
Must be able to troubleshoot equipment problems.
Fluent Troubleshooting Techniques.
Good Machine Shop skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to work the hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
